Technical Difficulties…
Oh, my goodness, the learning curve on a new platform of publication is daunting!
I expected this to work similar to a Word(R) document, but it doesn’t. Nor is it anything like WIX(R), the platform I used for my bookstore’s website.
I think I’m too old to deal with this! Or, maybe at least I need more time to understand the commands and the process of getting my buttons to hyper link to a page so that you can comment, make suggestions or requests.
Computers and I have never been best buds, really, at first the children sang the praises of the TRS80 that they had in school. I hadn’t the need or the desire to become familiar with this new-fangled technology, heck, dad had all but given up teaching me the slide rule in high school. The closest I came to a computer was a calculator used in geometry and pre-calculus. Then, in my 30’s I decided to go to college. The world wide web was out there, dial-up access, email, chat rooms and myspace. I learned the basics of windows, how to maneuver through Word, Excel, and PowerPoint having taken a couple of classes. I actually was afraid I was doing something wrong the first few times when the computer booted up and ran through all the DOS coding language-foreign.
Now I choose to consider myself proficient on most platforms, however, I still prefer Windows to Apple. I’m old school. I will figure this out, it can’t be rocket science. It’s a point, copy, paste issue, I’m pretty sure.
My first post-here goes nothing!
